DeFi structured protocol Thetanuts Finance issued a statement in response to the security incident involving its Vault. Preliminary investigations indicate that the related Vault is an old version of the contract that was deprecated and migrated years ago, and it is not associated with any currently running contracts or products. Further details are still under investigation, and a complete post-incident analysis report will be released once more information is obtained.
Previously, it was reported that Thetanuts Finance allegedly suffered an attack, with preliminary estimates of losses around 2.1 million USD.
